TSA lock
The TSA lock system, marked with a red diamond symbol, is primarily designed to allow your luggage to be easily opened for inspection without damaging it. It also helps to speed up the inspection process. TSA security officers can open and inspect luggage with this type of lock without having to break it. All TSA locks are marked with a code from TSA001 to TSA007, which corresponds to the type of universal key used to open that lock. Keys for TSA locks are not sold to the public and are only available to TSA personnel. After inspecting your luggage, the officers are required to place a notification of the inspection inside your suitcase and must lock it again. It is especially recommended for travel to the USA, as the TSA is primarily an American organisation, but TSA standards are also used at airports outside the United States.
