Yonex Astrox 99 Play white tiger

The Yonex Astrox 99 Play White Tiger badminton racket is designed for recreational players who prefer an attacking style of play. Thanks to the balance to the head, it allows to generate strong smashes, although it is slightly slower on the return. The frame is medium stiff and together with the Power-Assist Bumper technology transfers maximum power from the top of the racquet to the ball. Strategically positioned Wide Diameter Grommets improve string movement at impact and promote accuracy even in defensive play. The isometric head enlarges the sweet spot, making it easier to play even on less accurate hits.

Maximum power and precision in every stroke

The Astrox 99 features POWER-ASSIST BUMPER technology for the hardest smashes, which transfers the maximum amount of power from the top of the racquet to the ball. To improve defensive strikes, Wide Diameter Grommets are strategically placed on the sides of the frame to allow for better string movement when striking. The isometric racquet head provides a 32% larger sweet spot (optimal hitting area) compared to conventional racquets. Unlike conventional racket head shapes, the isometric racket head compensates for the length difference between the longitudinal and transverse strings. This increases the sweet spot, which allows for significantly better ball play even in the case of a less than optimal hit.
