Yonex Astrox 99 Pro cherry sunburst

The Yonex Astrox 99 Pro Cherry Sunburst badminton racket is designed for advanced players who prefer an aggressive attacking style of play. Thanks to its head balance and rigid construction, it provides maximum power transfer to the stroke, which is especially appreciated by players using hard smashes. Power-Assist Bumper Technology ensures efficient energy transfer from the top of the frame to the ball, while Wide Diameter Grommets located on the sides of the frame increase string flexibility and improve response even on defensive shots. The isometric shape of the racquet head delivers an enlarged sweet spot, allowing for greater confidence on off-center shots.

Maximum power and precision in every stroke

The Astrox 99 features POWER-ASSIST BUMPER technology for the hardest smashes, which transfers the maximum amount of power from the top of the racquet to the ball. To improve defensive strikes, Wide Diameter Grommets are strategically placed on the sides of the frame to allow for better string movement when striking. The isometric racquet head provides a 32% larger sweet spot (optimal hitting area) compared to conventional racquets. Unlike conventional racket head shapes, the isometric racket head compensates for the length difference between the longitudinal and transverse strings. This increases the sweet spot, which allows for significantly better ball play even in the case of a less than optimal hit.
