A fast drying, non-sticky, transparent silicone gel designed to treat both old and new scars. When used as directed, Strataderm® dries after application to form an air permeable, waterproof, silicone protective layer that hydrates and protects the scar from chemicals and microbial attack. This allows scars to normalize the process of collagen synthesis leading to the formation of a normal mature scar.
Strataderm®
Strataderm is used to soften and smooth scars, relieve itching and discomfort in scars, and also reduce the redness and discolouration typical of scars. Strataderm is easy to apply to any area of the skin, including bare areas such as the face and neck, as well as joint surfaces and hairless areas that do not need to be shaved.

Polydimethylsiloxane, siloxane, alkylmethylsilicone.
Recommended dosage
Strataderm® should be applied once a day or twice a day to exposed areas, or as recommended by your doctor. Strataderm® is recommended to be taken for at least 60-90 days, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Larger and older scars may take longer to heal. Continuous treatment is recommended until there are no further signs of improvement.
Method of administration (instructions for use):
Make sure the scar is clean and dry. Apply a very thin layer of Strataderm® gel to the scar and allow to dry. If used correctly, Strataderm® should dry within 3-4 minutes. If it takes longer to dry, you have probably applied too much. Gently remove excess with a cloth and allow to dry again. After drying, Strataderm® can be covered with sunscreen, cosmetics, elastic underwear or even plaster.

Read the instructions carefully before use! Do not exceed the prescribed dose without consulting your physician. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity or incompatibility with any component of the product. In particular, prolonged use of all topically applied products may lead to symptoms of hypersensitivity. In these cases, discontinue treatment and consult your physician to initiate appropriate treatment. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes. Don't swallow. Do not use if the packaging is damaged or if it is not perfectly intact when first opened. Do not use after the expiry date. The shelf life refers to the product properly stored in unopened packaging. Do not apply Strataderm® to third-degree burns or open wounds. Strataderm® should not come into contact with mucous membranes and eyes. Strataderm® should not be applied over other skin products without consulting a physician. Strataderm® may leave marks on clothing if not properly dried. If stains remain, dry cleaning should remove them without damaging the fabric. Strataderm® does not require special disposal methods. Please follow the local waste regulations. Within the European Union, serious incidents related to the use of Strataderm® Gel should be reported to Stratpharma and to the competent authority in the user's country.
