This versatile lens for DSLR cameras is equipped with VC (Vibration Compensation), highly effective optical image stabilisation that facilitates handheld photography even at the slowest shutter speeds. It also features a fast and quiet ultrasonic motor acting on the principle of piezoelectricity (Piezo Drive). The lens delivers a remarkable 15x zoom range (28-419mm equivalent). The construction of the lens is designed exclusively for DSLR cameras with an APS-C sensor. The lens offers superior image quality throughout the whole range. It also includes a flower-shaped lens hood (DA18).
