Medicinal product Tantum Verde solution 240 ml
Tantum Verde in the form of a gargle treats pain and inflammation in the throat and mouth. It can be used by adults, adolescents and children from 4 years of age. It is also suitable for patients with diabetes (sugar-free). Tantum Verde can only be used during pregnancy after consulting a doctor.
When to use Tantum Verde gargle?
Pain and inflammation in the throat
- Treats pain and swelling
- In tonsillitis
- In pharyngitis
Inflammation of the oral cavity
- For gingivitis
- In inflammations of the oral mucosa
- In periodontal disease
- Treats aphthae
Pain after surgical procedures
- After dental treatment (tearing of molars)
- After plucking almonds
Dosage
Always use the product after meals, in an amount of 10 - 15 ml (i.e. 1 - 2 tablespoons) of undiluted solution. If there is no relief or alleviation of symptoms within 7 days or if the condition worsens, see a doctor. Do not take for more than 14 days without consulting your doctor.
- Children 4 years and older, who cannot gargle yet, the affected area can be swabbed with a swab soaked in the solution.
Ingredients
The active substance is benzydamine hydrochloride (1.5 mg in 1 ml of solution).
Excipients are: ethanol 96%, glycerol, methylparaben (E 218), peppermint aroma, saccharin, sodium bicarbonate, polysorbate 20, quinoline yellow (E 104), patent blue V (E 131), purified water.
