Televés TV/R splitter 519606

Televés TV/R splitter 519606
The Televés TV/R 519606 splitter distributes television and data signals in the CATV band to six separate output branches. The device operates in the 5 to 1,220MHz frequency range with an insertion loss of 12dB and is fully compliant with the DOCSIS 3.1 standard for high-speed transmissions. The metal chassis, made from a Zamak alloy, provides Class A shielding against electromagnetic interference, thus protecting the transmitted signal. This device, with a net weight of 130g, is a result of 100% European production, which includes the complete design, quality control, and the robotic manufacturing itself for indoor installations.
Key Features of the Televés TV/R 519606 Splitter
- The splitter distributes the input signal to 6 separate outputs
- The device's frequency range covers the band from 5 to 1,220MHz
- The metal chassis made of Zamak alloy meets Class A shielding requirements
- The F connectors are angled at 10° relative to the mounting wall
- The insertion loss is 12dB
- The device does not pass DC voltage to any output
Mounting and Installation Options
The splitter is designed for indoor installations and can be mounted directly on a wall, on rack plates, or on a standard DIN rail using the 519901 adapter. The longer thread of the F connectors facilitates secure mounting on a rack plate and increases the mechanical stability of the entire connection. The design meets the requirements for placement in indoor distribution cabinets, home junction boxes, and installation registers.
Design Features
The F connectors are angled at 10° to the installation wall for easier screwing and tightening of the connected coaxial cables. All input and output ports are located on one side of the metal chassis, which optimises the use of space in distribution cabinets and registers. The rear of the splitter body also intentionally leaves free space for cabling to pass through, contributing to a neat organisation of the entire cable installation.
Connection and Earthing
The metal body of the splitter is equipped with an integrated earthing screw, which is included in the package and is used for potential equalisation in the distribution system. Individual elements from the F series can be daisy-chained using the earthing conductor, so the entire assembly requires only one common earthing cable. This system simplifies the structure of cable distributions in larger buildings and speeds up assembly work on site.
Electrical Parameters
The use of electronic components contributes to a flat frequency response across the entire operating band. The signal level at the outputs remains stable even with long runs of coaxial cables to the subscriber outlets. The isolation between individual outputs exceeds 20dB, which effectively prevents mutual interference between connected television receivers or end-user modems.
Manufacturing Standards
This product comes from fully robotic European production, which eliminates human error and increases the consistency of each unit's parameters. The device does not pass DC supply voltage to any of its six outputs, making it safe for standard distribution systems. The design complies with strict European standards for the reliable distribution of television and data services in cable networks.
