Wireless connectivity and standards
The device transmits on the 2.4GHz wireless band using 802.11b, 802.11g and 802.11n standards. The total transmission speed reaches up to 600.0Mb/s, ensuring stable data transfers for all connected clients on the network. To optimise wireless traffic, the access point uses WMM technology and lets you hide the SSID in stealth mode. A single detachable external antenna with an RP-SMA connector ensures stable signal propagation, and can be replaced with another compatible model if needed. The single-band technology provides reliable coverage in industrial spaces with minimal risk of interference from obstacles.
Mesh technology and user management
This access point fully supports 802.11s standard WiFi Mesh technology, which makes it easy to expand your network without installing additional cabling. Seamless handover for mobile devices between nodes is ensured by the 802.11r, 802.11k, and 802.11v fast roaming standards. The system can stably connect up to 50 users at once without any loss of speed or connection quality. Administrators can also use advanced features for client isolation and effective real-time management of network traffic.
Security and advanced data protection
Wireless data transmission is secured by modern WPA2 and WPA3 encryption protocols, complemented by the WPA-EAP and WPA2-EAP enterprise standards. The integrated firewall offers extensive options for configuring traffic filtering rules, port forwarding, and protection against DDoS attacks. Network security is further enhanced by the ability to create port-based or tag-based VLANs and an advanced MAC filter with modes for allowed and denied addresses. This robust protection system prevents unauthorised access to the internal infrastructure and safeguards against port scan attacks.
WiFi Access Point connector options
Physical connection to the surrounding infrastructure is provided by two 10/100Mb/s RJ45 Ethernet ports that support the auto MDI/MDIX function. The device is powered by passive PoE supporting a voltage range from 9V to 30V, or via an industrial three-pin power connector. The compact aluminium chassis with IP30 rating has a height of 25mm, a width of 68.6mm, and a depth of 113.1mm.
