The Tenda OAP1200 WiFi Access Point is suitable for outdoor and indoor use and supports 802.11ac(wave2)/a/b/g/n standards in the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands. It offers a total speed of up to 1 167 Mbps using MU-MIMO, OFDMA and Beamforming technologies. The device has one Gigabit LAN port, which allows active PoE 802.3af power supply, but also passive power supply (24 V, 0.5 A). It supports the creation of up to 12× SSIDs (8× for 2.4 GHz and 4× for 5 GHz), VLAN tagging, AP Isolation and can handle up to 256 clients. The design includes a bracket for variable placement on the wall, ceiling or column. The design also includes 6,000 V surge protection, which increases the equipment's resistance to storms and long-term outdoor operation.

Performance of the wireless part
The Tenda OAP1200 WiFi Access Point is suitable for small and medium-sized businesses and homes. With adjustable transmit power and advanced technologies, it can efficiently regulate and route the signal for maximum coverage. By using the 80 MHz band (20/40/80 MHz support), it achieves high transmission speeds in a wireless network (2.4 GHz: 300 Mbps, 5 GHz: 867 Mbps). It also includes advanced features for seamless transition of clients between APs without dropouts and disconnections, provided by the 802.11 k/v/r protocol.
Security and other features
A wide range of security is supported, from 64/128bit WEP to modern WPA/WPA2 and WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK, including Mixed WPA/WPA2-PSK mode. Secure operation is also ensured by AES, TKIP and TKIP+AES encryption methods, so the device can easily fit into more advanced networks. You can hide SSIDs, restrict access by MAC address, assign individual SSIDs to their own VLANs, or adjust transmission power to suit current conditions. Quality coverage is ensured by two external 4dBi antennas, which provide a stable signal even outdoors in open areas.
