The Termofol underfloor heating mat consists of a system of wires laid on a special fibreglass mesh. Installation does not raise the floor level and provides the pleasant feeling of a warm floor, which enhances the comfort of any interior. A constant output of 150W/m² ensures optimal thermal performance, and the system itself is in no way dependent on the existing central heating installation, so you can control it however you like. The ready-to-use H6 installation kit is designed for DIY installation.

Applying the heating mat:

Site preparation and installation:
The first step in laying the mat is to create an opening in the wall for two conduits to house the end of the power cable and the sensor wire. You also need to install a Ø 60 flush-mounted box in the wall for the temperature controller. Then you can proceed to lay the system on the floor. For the underfloor heating mat to work correctly, you must spread it evenly over the entire floor area. It is particularly important to maintain equal spacing and to avoid downpipes, sewer drains, hot water installation elements or heating pipes. A fault and the need to replace these elements in the future could cause mechanical damage to the wires. You should not lay the heating mat so that it runs between separate rooms or under permanently installed furniture or equipment. However, it is acceptable to lay it under wall-hung sanitary ware or furniture on legs. Never shorten the electrical wires. If the heating film or heating mat under the panels, terracotta or floor covering is too long and does not fit in the room, you may only make cuts to the mesh.
