The charging station has an IEC62196-2 Type 2 connector
The TOPDON PulseQ AC Home uses a Type 2 connector (IEC62196-2) for charging, which meets the European standard for charging electric vehicles with AC chargers. The connector has seven pins that transfer electrical energy and facilitate communication between the charger and the electric vehicle. You can connect the TOPDON PulseQ AC Home to your home Wi-Fi network using your smartphone and the companion app. In the app, you can manage your charging remotely. If the administrator (the first registered user) allows it, the PulseQ AC Home charging station can also be controlled by multiple users at the same time.

In the app, you can easily view real-time information about the charging process, see what power you're currently charging at, or what range you've added. The current for the PulseQ AC Home charger can be set from 6 to 32A in the app. You can also schedule charging, for example, if you want to take advantage of cheaper electricity tariffs at night. A single PulseQ AC Home charger can be operated from multiple devices.
Plug-and-Play, App Control and RFID reader
The PulseQ AC Home charger can be controlled in several different ways:
- Plug-and-Play — just connect the PulseQ AC Home charger to your car, turn it on, and the charging cycle will start automatically.
- App Control — control the PulseQ AC Home charger and monitor the charging process in the app for Android and iOS. You must be connected to the internet.
- RFID reader — a special reader lets you activate charging using a contactless card or other identification medium with RFID technology. This makes the PulseQ AC Home charger ideal for private garages or car parks with restricted access.

The service life of the connector itself is rated for up to 10000 uses. The robust PVC and copper charging cable can handle up to 32A of current. The total cable length is 7.5m, so you can conveniently charge your electric car. The excess cable can be wrapped around the holder, which is included with the PulseQ AC Home charger.
