The charging station has an IEC62196-2 type 2 connector
For charging, the TOPDON PulseQ AC Home uses a Type 2 connector (IEC62196-2), which meets the European standard for charging electric vehicles using AC chargers. The connector is equipped with seven pins, which enable power transfer and communication between the charger and the electric vehicle. This type of connector also ensures that the TOPDON PulseQ AC Home charging station is compatible with most electric vehicles on the market. Better overview of charging in the app
Through your smartphone and the accompanying app, you can connect TOPDON PulseQ AC Home to your home Wi-Fi network. In it, you can manage charging remotely. If the administrator (first registered user) allows it, the PulseQ AC Home charging station can be controlled by multiple users at the same time.
The app does a number of things
In the app, you can easily view real-time information about the charging process, see what power you're currently charging with or how far you've gotten. The current can be set from 6 to 32 A in the PulseQ AC Home app. Recharging can also be scheduled if you would like to take advantage of a cheaper electricity tariff at night, for example. One PulseQ AC Home charger can be operated from multiple devices.

The PulseQ AC Home charger can be controlled in several different ways:
- Plug-and-Play -simply connect the PulseQ AC Home charger to your car, switch it on and the charging cycle starts automatically.
- App Control -in the Android and iOS app, you can control the PulseQ AC Home charger and monitor the charging progress. You must be connected to the internet.
- RFID reader -through a special reader, charging can be activated using a contactless card or other identification medium with RFID technology. That's why the PulseQ AC Home charger can be used in private garages or parking lots with limited access.

The lifetime of the connector itself is specified up to 10000 uses. The robust PVC and copper charging cable can hold up to 32A of current.
