Beta-carotene is an important precursor of vitamin A. It is important for maintaining normal skin, mucous membranes and eyesight. It contributes to the normal function of the immune system. Beta-carotene is a powerful antioxidant (suppresses the effect of free radicals in the body) and reduces the signs of aging. There is no risk of overdose with beta-carotene because the body converts only the amount it currently needs and safely eliminates the rest. We recommend taking Beta-carotene for at least two weeks as a preparation for sunbathing not only in summer but also before winter holidays.
