Build Trails, Close Loops

In Trailblazers, players compete for the most points by creating biking, hiking, and kayaking routes. Each trail must start and end at the correct type of camp—only closed loops earn points. In each round, you receive eight trail cards. You choose two to play in front of you and pass the rest on—this drafting style continues for three rounds. You must place cards next to or partially overlapping those already played, gradually creating your own map of routes. You can risk building long and complex trails, but you'll only score points for those you actually close. In addition, you also compete for ongoing and final goals that offer further scoring opportunities.
