Your goal is to reach the finish line with a precise move - but beware, one wrong move and you're back! Into this comes a rotating 3D game plan, which alters the effects of the boxes and turns the race on its head. Sabotage your opponents with danger magnets, use action cards and don't be afraid to explode - here, an explosion doesn't mean the end, but a new chance to win.

From Kickstarter to board bomb
The board version of Explosive Kittens is the next addition to the phenomenal series that started in 2015 as a Kickstarter-funded card game. It was created by Elan Lee, an American technology entrepreneur, Matthew Inman, illustrator and author of The Oatmeal comic, and game designer Shane Small. A new board variant was released in 2025. It was published by the original publisher - the American studio Exploding Kittens.
