Igráček with polka dots - boy

Igráček with polka dots - boy
The 29th of October is World Psoriasis Day. On this occasion, Polka Dot Day reminds us that no one with psoriasis or psoriatic arthritis should be left alone with their worries. Psoriasis can affect anyone; over a quarter of a million people in the Czech Republic live with it. More than the disease itself, people with psoriasis are often hurt by prejudice and a lack of understanding from those around them. Thanks to the collaboration between Polka Dot Day and the company EFKO-karton from Nové Veselí, a four-member Igráček family with polka dots has been created. The polka dots symbolise psoriasis lesions on the skin. Children can stick the dotty stickers on the Igráček figures and learn in a playful way that people with psoriasis are just like everyone else, differing only by the dots (psoriasis) on their skin.
