Igráček with polka dots - daddy

Igráček with polka dots - daddy
World Psoriasis Day falls on 29 October. On this occasion, Polka Dot Day aims to raise awareness that no one with psoriasis or psoriatic arthritis should have to face their worries alone. Psoriasis can affect anyone; in the Czech Republic, over a quarter of a million people live with it. More than the disease itself, people with psoriasis often suffer from prejudice and a lack of understanding from those around them. Thanks to a collaboration between Polka Dot Day and EFKO-karton from Nové Veselí, a four-member Igráček family with polka dots has been created. The polka dots symbolise psoriasis patches on the skin. Children can stick the polka dot stickers on the Igráček figures and learn in a playful way that people with psoriasis are just like everyone else, differing only by the polka dots (psoriasis) on their skin.
