The Pac Gang Comic
The first comic in the Magical Reading series was created by Petr Kopl—a leading comic book author (Morgana and Morgavsa), co-author of the legendary Pérák, and author of the first purely Czech comic book textbook. Readers aged 7 and up can gradually discover the comic and experience the adventure at their own pace, or they can listen to it all at once and enjoy the wonderfully prepared scenic backdrops, theme tune, and transitions. Across 32 pages, they will meet characters voiced by leading Czech television actors such as Pavel Římský, Filip Jančík, Jana Stryková, and Vasil Fridrich. Children will enjoy the story of how Románek becomes part of the Pac gang.

Románek’s Fantastic Adventures
Románek isn’t handling the move to another town very well. His worries about the new environment are made even worse by his reception at his new school. It seems like everything is falling apart for Románek, but then his classmate Ofka approaches him and he becomes part of the Pac gang, experiencing amazing adventures with his new friends. Come and walk with them through Humbrsvík, a town that holds more than one secret.
A Beautifully Illustrated Book Full of Information
In addition to the interactive fun, children can enjoy the beautiful illustrations, texts, and song lyrics by Petr Kopl. The texts also drew on folk rhymes and the work of Lucie Krystlíková. The interesting information, stories, and quizzes are narrated by Jana Stryková, Filip Jančík, Michal Holán, Vasil Fridrich, Jakub Koudela, Jaromír Meduna, Pavel Římský, Tereza Chudobová, Jiří Schwarz, and Tomáš Juríčka. Music, vocals, and music production by Tomáš Harant, recorded at Studio Harryton. Created in collaboration with BEEP Sound Postproduction studio.
How does Albi Magical Reading work?
For children to enjoy the fun interaction with books from the Magical Reading series, they need to have the pen, which will become their guide. After touching the appropriate area or picture, the electronic pen will tell the children important information or play the corresponding sound. The Albi pen can make the books talk or sing, teach children new information, and even play an observation game with them or test their newly acquired knowledge in a quiz. The pen is available in two versions, both of which are compatible with all products from the Magical Reading series.
What are the symbols in the books and games for?
For everything to work correctly, you must load each book, game, or memory game using the power button. It is through the power button that the pen finds the correct sound file. By touching the power button a second time, the pen will tell you information about the meaning of the icons found in the book. You will always find an explanation of their functions on the back of the book or game. These are the icons below:
