RePlastic Base Ten set 132

RePlastic Base This set is used to learn the comprehensive concept of number (e.g. structure of the decimal system). It offers lessons in addition, subtraction, multiplication and division and practises the application of advantageous strategies. The dice allow counting forward and backward in increments of 10, 20, 25, 50, 100, 1000) and the representation of numbers in the range up to 1 000 000 using the structure of the decimal system. It practises mathematical skills by working on problems using a systematic approach and trial and error. It contributes to the acquisition of the use of technical terms (e.g. predecessor/successor, adjacent tens/hundreds, half/double, multiple/divisor). Practices orientation in the number range up to 1 000 000 by counting in steps. Set 132 consists of 100 yellow dice (ones), 20 green sticks (tens), 10 blue plates (hundreds) - 5 blank and 5 printed, 1 red die (thousand) and 1 blank decimetre die. Made of RE-Plastic. Packed in cardboard box with instructions.

Diverse development of mathematical skills

RePlastic Base Ten n offers several options for developing math skills, for example - name the geometric areas and shapes of a solid, determine the volume using unit cubes. Compare the contents of simple solids by building with unit cubes and counting unit cubes. Determine the number of vertices, edges and faces. Other tasks include converting a larger unit to a smaller unit, the numerical value gets larger, so multiply, or converting a smaller unit to a larger unit, where the numerical value gets smaller, so divide. It will enable the conversion of cubic decimetres to cubic centimetres and litres and the recognition and use of structures in number recognition (e.g. 1000 as 10 blue hundreds or 100 green tens). Recognize the value of each order of the decimal system and stepwise notation of numbers (734 = 7 (hundreds), 3 (tens), 4 (ones).
