Schleich Giant Tortoise 14824

The giant tortoise from Schleich Wild Life has a large, dome-shaped shell. In the wild, it sometimes grows to 100-120 cm. The giant tortoise is a large land tortoise and can weigh over 400 kg. Like the giant tortoise from Schleich Wild Life, it has very short but strong legs that it moves on when looking for fresh grasses and herbs. These reptiles can reach impressive ages and often live to be over 100 years old in the wild. When danger threatens, giant tortoises retract their heads and legs into their shells. Schleich figures are extremely detailed, lovingly painted and allow children to play and learn at the same time.
