Discover the interesting world of prehistoric animals

With the Schleich Therizinosaurus figure you can discover the interesting world of dinosaurs. What kind of therizinosaur was it? Therizinosaurus (nicknamed the "scythe lizard") was a very impressive dinosaur, thanks to its gigantic claws that measured over 1 meter. To this day, no one has found out why he needed such weapons. However, it is likely that he used them for defence or to pull leaves off trees. Because only a few skeletal fragments have been found, it is difficult to estimate what the dinosaur looked like and what its eating habits were. It grew to a length of 10-12 metres and a weight of 3-6 tonnes (making it one of the largest known theropods ever). His arms were up to 2.5 metres long. The dinosaur lived about 72 to 68 million years ago.
