In the game, you become scavengers - daredevils who, despite all the bans, penetrated the restricted zone around the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. Your main objective is to infiltrate the sarcophagus of the power plant and retrieve the legendary artifact called the Source. But the road to this goal is fraught with dangers and challenges. The game combines elements of map exploration, resource management and combat using dice rolls. You move around a game plan divided into three sectors of increasing difficulty - green, yellow and red. Each turn you perform two actions, such as moving, exploring a location, resting, or using the abilities of locations on the map.

Search for valuable artifacts

Encounters with mutants and anomalies are a key part of the game. You solve these by rolling dice, using your skills and collected equipment. Successful completion of these obstacles will bring you valuable resources and artifacts. Managing your equipment, health and fatigue also plays an important role. You must carefully weigh every risk and opportunity to not only survive, but also reach your goal before other players. The atmosphere and tension is heightened by event cards that bring unexpected twists and force you to react quickly to the changing situation.

To get your character into the sarcophagus, you must first uncover two secrets hidden in secret locations. This forces you to explore different parts of the map and undertake dangerous missions. The game ends when a player successfully enters the sarcophagus and obtains the Source, or when time runs out and the Oracle cards run out.
