The TP-Link Archer TBE550E WiFi network card connects your desktop PC to a wireless network using the Wi-Fi 7 standard via a PCIe bus. The card measures 21.5×95.2×120.8mm and is designed for installation in computer cases that support both standard and low-profile brackets. The internal PCIe card works with the 802.11be standard, which introduces support for the wide 6GHz band. The card achieves high transfer speeds by using double the channel width compared to older generations of wireless networks. It supports IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be standards and ensures backward compatibility with older network elements in the infrastructure.

High-speed tri-band connection
The card splits the data stream across three frequency bands to ensure optimal performance. In the 6GHz band, the transfer speed reaches up to 5760Mbps, in the 5GHz band it reaches 2880Mbps, and the older 2.4GHz band offers 688Mbps. The total wireless speed reaches up to 9328 Mbps when combining all three bands. The card operates in Infrastructure mode and supports IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be standards, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of wireless networks. Transmission occurs across three frequency bands: 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz. Communication is secured by WPA, WPA2, WPA3, WPA-PSK, and WPA2-PSK protocols.
Wireless interface and antenna system
The network card integrates a Bluetooth 5.4 module for wirelessly connecting peripheral devices. This version increases the overall security and reliability of the connection when pairing with wireless headphones, keyboards, or game controllers. The included 0.3m Bluetooth cable ensures connection to the motherboard. The package contains two detachable omni-directional antennas, which you can mount on the external magnetic base. This design lets you place the antennas on any metal surface outside the computer case to achieve optimal signal reception. A 1m shielded RF cable connects the base to the card.
Installation and security
Getting the card up and running is made easy by the included USB drive, which contains the necessary installation drivers for a quick setup. The security of transmitted data is ensured by the WPA3 encryption protocol for enhanced protection of personal access passwords. The card requires the 64-bit Windows 11 operating system exclusively. The magnetic base includes a multi-colour LED Wi-Fi status indicator.
