The TP-Link EAP613 Omada is a dual-band Wi-Fi access point for high-density client networks. It operates on the Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) standard and delivers a combined transfer speed of up to 1775Mbps, split between 574Mbps on the 2.4GHz band and 1201Mbps on the 5GHz band. For smooth operation in demanding environments like offices, hotels, or schools, it uses MU-MIMO and OFDMA technologies for simultaneous communication with multiple devices. This cloud-managed AP is part of the Omada SDN platform, which integrates network elements for centralised management from a single interface, either locally or remotely via the cloud. Its design is optimised to serve over 250 connected devices.

Wi-Fi 6 performance and efficient coverage
The access point operates on the Wi-Fi 6 standard, delivering greater network efficiency. The combined speed across both bands reaches 1775Mbps. Four internal antennas, working with Beamforming technology, focus the signal towards connected clients, optimising coverage for areas up to 115m². Thanks to MU-MIMO and OFDMA technologies, the access point communicates with many devices at once, reducing latency and increasing overall network throughput. The network capacity supports over 250 clients, making it suitable for deployment in high-density environments.
Flexible deployment
The access point supports Omada Mesh technology, which simplifies wireless network expansion into areas without available cabling. The units connect wirelessly to each other, creating a unified and extensive network. Within the Omada SDN platform, clients seamlessly roam between access points with the best signal without interrupting the connection, which is crucial for VoIP calls or video streaming. In addition, the Mesh system's intelligent self-healing features automatically reroute data if one of the units fails.
Advanced security and network management
The network is protected by the modern WPA3 encryption standard, which enhances security on open Wi-Fi networks and protects sensitive data. The device maintains backward compatibility with older WPA2 and WPA protocols. You can manage the network in several ways – through the Omada mobile app for quick setup, via the traditional web interface, or using the fully centralised cloud management of the Omada SDN platform to manage multiple sites from a single location. The device supports both access point and router operating modes.
Design and installation
Exceptional performance combined with a compact design ensures simple Wi-Fi installation while saving space. With its ultra-slim design measuring 160 × 160 × 33.6mm, the unit is easy to install on a ceiling or wall, where it remains discreet and doesn't disrupt the interior's appearance.
Connectivity
For physical network connection, the device is equipped with one Gigabit Ethernet (RJ-45) port. The power supply offers great flexibility and simplicity. The device supports both 802.3at PoE+ and 48V passive PoE, which allows data and power to be transmitted over a single Ethernet cable. Alternatively, you can use a 12V DC adapter, which is not included in the package.
