The TP-LINK TL-MC1400 is a rack-mount chassis (2U) designed to house 14 media converters, with a central power supply, and active cooling. The case can have an optional redundant power supply and shares power for media converters - it can have up to 2 power sources - supplied with AC or DC. Media converters are installed over time with the supplied fasteners. This chassis simplifies the installation of more than one media converter in a rack and is intended only for TP-LINK version "v2" media converters that have 9V power supply (these "v2" converters have been supplied by the manufacturer since mid-2009).
