The Ubiquiti UniFi G6 180 panoramic IP camera with a dual sensor captures its surroundings in 7680 × 2160px resolution with a 180° horizontal viewing angle and no blind spots. The device uses a quad-core processor and offers standard infrared night vision with a range of up to 20m. The built-in Multi-TOPS AI Engine performs face recognition, licence plate recognition and detection of people, animals or vehicles directly on the device itself. Power is supplied via the PoE+ standard with 37 to 57V DC using a single ethernet cable for easier installation both indoors and outdoors.

Panoramic Image
The sensor system consists of a dual 1/1.8" 8MP progressive CMOS sensor, which composites the final image to a resolution of 7680 × 2160px at a frame rate of 20 FPS. Two fixed lenses with a 4mm focal length and F1.0 aperture cover a 180° horizontal angle and a 56.7° vertical angle. H.264 and H.265 video compression reduces bandwidth and storage requirements while preserving detail. Users can adjust image parameters including brightness, contrast, sharpness and HDR.
Night Vision
The camera uses classic infrared night vision for monitoring in low-light conditions. A built-in light sensor automatically activates the IR LED illumination when the ambient light drops. The infrared illuminator lights up the area up to a distance of 20m and provides a high-contrast black and white image. An integrated IR cut filter filters out unwanted infrared radiation during the day for true colour reproduction.
Intelligent Detection
The integrated processor with Multi-TOPS AI Engine technology processes advanced analytics directly within the device. The system performs facial recognition, vehicle licence plate recognition, and classification of people or animals. These intelligent features help eliminate false alarms caused by things like wind or changes in light. Upon detecting a selected event, the system sends an instant notification to users' mobile phones.
Audio and Two-Way Communication
The camera body combines built-in microphones and a speaker for audio transmission. The hardware facilitates two-way voice communication in real time between the monitored area and a remote user. The audio accompaniment enhances the informational value of the video recordings. Users can communicate with people near the device through the mobile app.
Durability and Recording Storage
The aluminium alloy and polycarbonate construction is weatherproof to IP66 standard and impact-resistant to IK04 class. The device operates reliably in a temperature range of -20 to 50°C. For data storage, there is a slot for a MicroSD memory card or integration into the comprehensive UniFi Protect ecosystem. Installation on a ceiling, pole or wall is made easy by the included set of mounts, including a panoramic adapter.
Connectivity and App
Network connectivity is provided by a single 10/100 MbE RJ-45 ethernet port that supports PoE+ power according to the IEEE 802.3at standard. The entire system is managed via the UniFi Protect app for Android and iOS, available in both Czech and English. The connection requires a supply voltage in the range of 37 to 57V DC with a power consumption of up to 15W.
