Ubiquiti Unifi UNVR
The Ubiquiti Unifi UNVR network recorder is used for storing and centrally managing video recordings from security cameras in a business environment. The rack-mounted device integrates UniFi Protect software and four hard drive bays, combining data protection with scalable storage. The entire system is managed via an intuitive graphical user interface, which is available on both desktop computers and mobile devices running iOS and Android.

Storage capacity
The recorder offers four hard drive bays. The total internal storage capacity is up to 32TB when fitted with four 8TB drives. The device supports RAID 5 disk arrays for increased data security against hardware failure. The power consumption reserved for the hard drives is 75W, ensuring stable operation for all installed units.
Connecting cameras to the NVR
You can connect up to 50 cameras with Full HD resolution to the device. When recording in 4K resolution, the system handles 15 cameras simultaneously. When fully populated with four 8TB drives in a RAID 5 configuration, the recorder can store up to 30 days of continuous recording for both of these camera configurations.
Construction and installation
The SGCC steel metal chassis, measuring 43.7 × 442.4 × 325mm, fits into a standard rack. The device weighs 5.11kg without the mounting brackets, and 5.20kg with them. Access to the hard drive bays directly from the front panel makes installation and any drive maintenance easier, without needing to remove the entire recorder from the rack cabinet.
Powerful processor and memory
The entire system is run by a quad-core ARM Cortex-A57 processor with a frequency of 1.7GHz. The 4GB of operating memory works with the integrated 8GB flash storage. Power is supplied by an internal 120W AC/DC source, with the system exhibiting a power consumption of up to 100W. The device also supports a USP-RPS backup DC power supply with a voltage of 11.5VDC.
Remote data access
A 1Gbps RJ-45 ethernet port and a 10Gbps SFP+ port provide a fast network connection. Users can watch recordings using the mobile phone app. The system sends notifications directly to the phone's screen when an event is detected. Operational safety is enhanced by integrated electrostatic protection against discharges of up to ±12kV (air) and ±8kV (contact).
