Ubiquiti, a renowned manufacturer of network elements, now introduces an IP camera that can reliably monitor any room, both indoors and outdoors. The camera captures images in superb HD resolution (720p) at up to 30 frames per second. Thanks to the modern H.264 codec the images are also surprisingly small, so they do not burden the network with massive data transmissions. The camera also has an IR filter that activates automatically, ensuring that it never misses a thing, not even in total darkness.
Using it is very simple. The camera is accessed from a web browser. It has its own webpage for easy management. The interface is incredibly intuitive and packed with powerful features, such as detailed statistics, advanced analysis, settings, firmware update, and much more.
The camera can be easily mounted in remote locations. It supports the PoE standard (passive with supplied adapter), so the camera draws power directly from a PoE switch. A single Ethernet cable therefore provides both data transfer and power supply. The camera’s robust design allows you to install it indoors or outdoors. It can be mounted on a wall, ceiling, or even to a pole.
