Vagisan HydroKreme is intended for application to the vagina and external intimate areas (dryness, burning, itching, minor injuries and pain during sexual intercourse, e.g. in estrogen deficiency during menopause). Completely hormone-free. With vaginal applicator.
Dosage
Apply every day - preferably in the evening before going to bed (or in the morning). use a slip liner). Once the discomfort has eased, the frequency of applications can be reduced as needed. For problems in the vaginal entrance and external intimate areas, apply the cream as needed several times a day with a clean finger and spread it; a strip of cream about 0.5 cm long is enough.
Vagisan HydroCream is intended for application to the vagina and external intimate areas. To treat symptoms in the vagina, introduce cream into the vagina. You can apply the cream with the applicator provided or without the applicator. To use the applicator, fill it halfway (approx. 2.5 g of cream, see also "Instructions for use"). For easier insertion of the applicator, a small amount of cream can also be applied in the area of the vaginal entrance. If you prefer to introduce without an applicator, introduce a strip of cream about 2 cm long into the vagina with a clean finger.
The cream can also be used before sexual intercourse or during menstruation. Vagisan HydroCream can be used for longer periods of time if well tolerated, even during pregnancy (without applicator, see "Instructions for use during pregnancy") and breastfeeding.
Method of use
Vagisan HydroCream is a white, emollient cream, developed for application for symptoms of vaginal dryness. It does not contain hormones (estrogens) and can therefore be used together with hormone replacement therapy or alternated with vaginal creams or suppositories containing hormones (estrogens). With the addition of lactic acid, Vagisan HydroCream is adjusted to a pH value of 4.5, thereby supporting the maintenance of the natural pH value in the vagina. Two factors contribute to Vagisan HydroCream's ability to relieve vaginal dryness - the cream contains a high proportion of water to provide moisture to the skin in the vaginal and external intimate area, and nourishing lipids (fats) keep the skin supple. Regular use of Vagisan HydroCream can have positive effects in preventing irritation and inflammation of the vagina and external intimate area. The cream can be used for vaginal dryness before sexual intercourse.
