Initially, apply daily. Once the discomfort has eased, the frequency of applications can be reduced as needed, e.g. 2-3 times a week. Vagisan HydroCream Cremolum is intended for application into the vagina. Vaginal suppositories are inserted as deeply as possible into the vagina (preferably at bedtime). It is easiest to apply the product lying on your back, with your legs slightly bent. After application, we recommend using a clip-on pad. Vagisan Hydrocream Cremolum is a vaginal suppository that dissolves in the vagina after insertion, accommodates existing vaginal secretions, and creates a moisturizing and nourishing cream. In this way, difficulties caused by dryness in the vaginal area due to various causes (e.g. dryness, burning, itching, minor injuries and pain). Vagisan Hydrocream Cremolum contains the addition of lactic acid buffer and calcium lactate, which causes the cream formed in the vagina to have a pH value of approximately 4.5.
Since the normal vaginal pH is 3.8 to 4.5, the lactic acid buffer system in Vagisan HydroKrém Cremolum helps to maintain a healthy vaginal environment. It does not contain hormones and can therefore be used together with hormone replacement therapy or alternately with vaginal creams or suppositories containing hormones (estrogens). Regular use of the product can have positive effects in preventing irritation and inflammation of the vagina.
