The VFFOTO PS UV filter not only absorbs ultraviolet radiation, but primarily serves as permanent protection for your lens against damage. Thanks to its Schott B270 optical glass and advanced coatings, it does not compromise image quality in any way. The filter is equipped with both anti-reflective and nano-coatings, which increase scratch resistance and make cleaning easier. Its slim frame prevents vignetting, even when used on ultra-wide-angle lenses.

Advanced coatings for a clear image

The filter features multiple layers that ensure maximum image quality. A total of 12 anti-reflective layers (6+6) effectively suppress reflections and lens flare, which helps to maintain high contrast and colour fidelity. In addition, three nano-layers (MRC) are applied to the outer surfaces of the glass, repelling both water and grease. This treatment not only makes cleaning easier but also increases the surface's resistance to scratching.

Optical quality without compromise

The core of the filter is premium Schott B270 optical glass, which is characterised by its high degree of transparency. Light transmission reaches up to 99.8%, so there is no visible loss of light or change in colour reproduction. The low-profile frame is designed to prevent vignetting, which is the darkening of the corners of the image. This makes the filter suitable for use with both ultra-wide-angle and telephoto lenses.

Durability and service in the Czech Republic

In addition to its optical properties, emphasis is also placed on mechanical durability. The nano-coatings protect the glass from everyday wear and tear and simplify maintenance in the field. The filter was designed and developed in the Czech Republic, where its final assembly and the meticulous inspection of each piece also take place. In the event of severe damage, such as from a fall, you will appreciate the option to have only the damaged glass replaced by the manufacturer, which extends the life of the entire product.
