VFFOTO UV Protector filter L41 NANO-PRO 72 mm

The VFFOTO Protector L41 NANO-PRO UV filter with a 72mm diameter protects your lens while improving image quality. The filter is suitable for both colour and black-and-white photography, eliminating ultraviolet radiation to prevent a blue cast in your photos. Thanks to the L41 process, it absorbs more than 99.9% of UV radiation up to a wavelength of 400nm. Its slim design allows for the use of wide-angle lenses and protects the front element of the lens from damage, water, and dirt.

Durable construction and lens protection

The filter is based on Corning optical glass, which offers high hardness and resistance to damage. This protects the front element of your lens from scratches, dust, and impacts. The Nano coating also repels water, grease, and other dirt, making cleaning easier. Thanks to the thin, slim design of the frame, there is no vignetting—the darkening of image corners—even when using wide-angle lenses.

Advanced UV radiation filtration

The filter uses the L41 process, which effectively blocks ultraviolet light up to a wavelength of 400nm. This prevents blue haze and increases the sharpness and contrast of photos, especially when shooting in the mountains or by the sea. The glass is treated with 16 anti-reflective layers that minimise reflections and lens flare. This results in a total light transmittance of 99.42%, meaning there is almost no loss of light passing through the lens.

Multi-layer coating and versatile use

The VFFOTO filter features a multi-resistant coating (MRC) that increases its mechanical durability. This protects the glass from scratches and makes it easy to clean. The HD coating ensures that the filter does not affect the sharpness or colour reproduction of the image, thus preserving the optical quality of your lens. The filter is completely transparent and is suitable for use with both colour and black-and-white photography, where it serves as permanent protection.
