VFFOTO UV Protector filter NANO-PRO L41 52 mm

The VFFOTO L41 UV filter provides permanent protection for your front lens element against scratches, dust, and moisture. Its slim frame design makes it suitable even for wide-angle lenses, preventing vignetting. The filter maintains image quality with a light transmission of 99.8% and a special L41 process that absorbs UV radiation without affecting colour reproduction. This makes it an ideal accessory for both colour and black-and-white photography.

Glass and protection

The filter's foundation is Corning optical glass, renowned for the durability found in smartphone displays. This provides a barrier against mechanical damage like scratches, while also protecting the front lens element from dust, fingerprints, and moisture. Using Corning glass means you don't have to worry about damaging your optics when shooting in challenging conditions.

Optical quality

The filter is designed to not affect image quality. A total of 16 anti-reflective layers are applied to both sides of the glass, effectively suppressing reflections and preventing unwanted flare or ghosting when shooting into the light. The L41 process guarantees the absorption of UV radiation up to a wavelength of 400nm, which contributes to images free of a bluish cast, without changing colour reproduction or increasing exposure time.

Design and maintenance

The filter's thin (slim) frame is ideal for use with wide-angle lenses, where it eliminates the risk of vignetting—the darkening of image corners. The glass surface is treated with special HD and MRC / Nano layers. This coating repels water and grease, so water droplets don't stick to the filter and simply run off, while fingerprints and other dirt can be easily wiped away without leaving smudges.
