Liquid B12 contains vitamin B12 from a plant source obtained by fermentation. It is B12 in two key forms - methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin. These are active forms of vitamin B12 that act as enzyme cofactors in two different signaling pathways. Methylcobalamin has properties related to the conversion of homocysteine to methionine and DNA synthesis, while adenosylcobalamin and its properties are related to carbohydrate and fat metabolism and mitochondrial activity. Recommended dosage
