The XGIMI Elfin Flip Laser projector uses DLP projection technology with a 0.23" DMD chip and a native resolution of 1920 × 1080px. The light source is an RGB Triple Laser. The portable projector provides a brightness of 2000 ANSI lm (1600 ISO lm) and a dynamic contrast ratio for rendering detail in darkened rooms. Weighing just 1.38kg, its compact design measures 254 × 245 × 75mm, making it easy to carry.

Image technology and resolution
Projection is handled by DLP technology combined with an RGB Triple Laser light source. The native resolution is 1920 × 1080px with a 16:9 aspect ratio. The projector supports HDR10 and HLG formats for accurate rendering of both dark and light scenes. The dynamic contrast ratio is 10,000:1, enhancing the depth and clarity of the projected image. The refresh rate of the XGIMI Elfin Flip Laser projector is 60Hz.
Colour reproduction
A light output of 2000 ANSI lm (1600 ISO lm) is sufficient for viewing content in darkened rooms. The colour gamut of the XGIMI Elfin Flip Laser projector covers 110% of the BT.2020 colour space. The tri-colour laser source provides a wide colour spectrum and natural shades. The size of the projected image ranges from 40" to 200".
Laser light source and quiet operation
The laser light source has a lifespan of up to 30,000 hours of operation. During projection, the noise from the active cooling system is only 28dB(A) at a distance of 1 metre from the device. The total power consumption of the device is 120W when powered from a mains supply of AC 100–240V and a frequency of 50/60Hz via the dedicated 120W DC IN connector. The low operating noise of the fan does not interfere with the accompanying audio when watching films.
Flexible installation
The XGIMI Elfin Flip Laser projector is a Short Throw model with a throw ratio of 1.2:1. The projection distance starts from 1060mm from the projection surface. The integrated stand offers a tilt range of up to 150° and also serves as a handle for carrying. The design supports flexible installation on a table or mounting on the ceiling for front, rear, front ceiling, or rear ceiling projection.
Automatic image adjustment
The Intelligent Screen Adaptation (ISA) system performs automatic focusing and automatic tilt correction. A digital zoom is also available for additional size adjustments. Automatic image alignment makes setup quick in any space. The optical system of the XGIMI Elfin Flip Laser projector uses a coated lens with high light transmittance.
Harman Kardon sound and Google TV
Audio output is handled by a single built-in 7W Harman Kardon speaker with Dolby Audio support. The integrated Google TV operating system includes pre-installed apps like Netflix, YouTube, HBO Max, Disney+, and Spotify. The smart system supports wireless screen mirroring through GoogleCast and DLNA technologies. The XGIMI Elfin Flip Laser projector does not support 3D viewing.
Connectors
Physical connection of signal sources to the XGIMI Elfin Flip Laser projector is done via an HDMI interface with eARC support and one USB 2.0 port. Wireless connectivity is provided by dual-band WiFi 5 (802.11a/b/g/n/ac) on the 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequencies, along with Bluetooth 5.1. The interface is used for connecting external players, drives, or wireless peripherals.

Native resolution vs. maximum resolution
