YPAO automatic sound calibration
The Yamaha R-N800A receiver is equipped with Yamaha Parametric Room Acoustic Optimiser (YPAO) technology, which analyses the room's acoustics and automatically adjusts the sound parameters to the specific environment. The system can take into account both the placement of the speakers and the acoustic properties of the space. This optimises the frequency response and signal timing for the most accurate reproduction possible. The technology includes a precise digital equaliser with a resolution of up to 192kHz/64-bit. The result is a balanced and realistic soundscape.
Hi-Fi design and quality components
The R-N800A uses the ToP-ART design philosophy, which ensures a symmetrical layout for the left and right channels and the shortest possible signal path. A solid, high-rigidity chassis reduces vibration and increases sound stability. Anti-resonance feet further reduce the transmission of vibrations from the surroundings. This makes reproduction more precise and brings out the details in the music more effectively. High-quality audio components and meticulous design contribute to a natural and dynamic sound.
Music streaming and multi-room system of the Yamaha R-N800A AV receiver
The Yamaha R-N800A supports the MusicCast network platform, which allows you to play music from various sources and enjoy synchronised listening in several rooms. The MusicCast Controller app makes it easy to control the receiver from your mobile phone or tablet. The device supports wireless playback via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and allows streaming from Apple devices using AirPlay 2. The receiver is compatible with popular streaming services including Spotify and Amazon Music HD. This offers flexible access to modern music sources.
