Zinkorot is a medicinal product containing zinc as a medicinal substance, which is a trace element necessary for biological processes in the human body. Zinkorot is used in conditions associated with zinc deficiency, in cases where the dietary intake of zinc does not sufficiently cover the body's increased need for zinc intake, e.g. for colds, increased susceptibility to infection, impaired/prolonged wound healing. Zinc is very important for the proper functioning of the immune system. If you do not feel better within 14 days or if you feel worse, you must consult a doctor. For other conditions associated with zinc deficiency (increased susceptibility to infection and impaired/prolonged wound healing), use only on the advice of a physician who will decide on the duration of treatment. The package contains 50 tablets.
Dosage and method of use
Zinkorot is taken orally (by mouth), on an empty stomach, and with plenty of fluid. Each tablet can be divided into two equal halves.
Adults and adolescents (12 - 17 years):
The recommended dose is 1 - 2 Zinkorot tablets (equivalent to 25 - 50 mg of zinc) per day. The tablets can be divided so that half a tablet is taken a maximum of 4 times a day. Always take this medicine exactly as directed in the package insert or by your doctor or pharmacist. If you are unsure, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Contraindications
Do not take Zinkorot if you are allergic to zinc orotate dihydrate, zinc, or any of the other ingredients in this product. Zinkorot is not intended for children under 12 years of age.
