Wireless Connectivity with Wi-Fi 7 Technology
This device operates in two frequency bands with support for the 802.11be standard. In the 2.4GHz band, it achieves transfer speeds of up to 1,376Mbps, while in the 5GHz band it offers speeds of up to 5,764Mbps. Multi-link Operation technology allows devices to send and receive data simultaneously over both bands, which significantly reduces latency and increases reliability. The Zero-wait DFS system prevents signal dropouts when switching to radar frequencies and maintains a smooth data flow.
Gateway and Mesh Technology
The device fully supports Zyxel MPro Mesh technology, which is used to create a unified wireless network throughout the building. After connecting compatible extenders, a single-name network is created in which client devices automatically and seamlessly switch between individual access points. The Multi-AP roaming function manages the movement of devices on the network and directs them to the strongest available signal source.
Network Security and Management
Data transmission is protected by modern WPA, WPA2 and WPA3 encryption protocols. Network security is enhanced by a built-in stateful firewall, protection against Denial-of-Service attacks and the ability to create a separate guest network. Administrators can use advanced remote management protocols TR-069 and TR-369 with the TR-181 data model, which simplify remote diagnostics and parameter configuration.
Ports and Connectors
A physical connection to the network is provided by one 2.5GbE WAN port combined with an RJ-45 and an SFP+ slot for optical modules. The local network can be connected via one 2.5GbE LAN port and three standard 1GbE LAN ports. The wired equipment is complemented by two FXS RJ-11 ports for connecting analogue telephones and using VoIP services, while the entire device is powered by an adapter with 12V DC / 2.5A parameters.
