Multimedia keys and functional keyboard layout (FN combinations)
The gaming keyboard offers a classic 100% format with 105 keys. There are eight preset functions available using the FN + F1–F7 combination. Available functions include multimedia controls and a gaming mode (mute, volume down and up, play/pause, stop, previous and next track, switching light effects). Other keys have an extended design:
- ENTER – height of two standard keys
- BACKSPACE – width of two standard keys
- SHIFT – extended width on both sides

The A4tech Bloody B230N model offers a 1ms response time, which ensures fast keystroke registration. The N-Key Rollover function with 100% anti-ghosting enables precise evaluation of multiple simultaneously pressed keys without misinterpretation. Other features include:
- Win-Lock – locks the Windows key during gaming
- 1000Hz Report Rate – stable and fast signal transmission
- Gaming mode – the FN + F8 combination deactivates the Windows key
Neon backlighting on the A4tech Bloody B230N keys
The keyboard features variable neon backlighting for all keys, which you'll appreciate especially when gaming in the evening or in low-light conditions. The lighting effects are controlled using FN + F12 (steady on, blinking, off). You can adjust the brightness with the FN + ↑/↓ combination. Breathing and Solid modes are also available. The backlighting can be completely deactivated.
Durable construction, water-resistant membrane and ergonomics of the A4tech Bloody B230N gaming keyboard
The spacebar is equipped with a reinforced construction with a double spring and a balancing element for an even press. The keyboard is equipped with a water-resistant membrane that protects the internal parts from spills and dirt. Three LED indicators show the status of Num Lock, Caps Lock and Scroll Lock. Fold-out feet let you adjust the tilt to two levels for more comfortable typing and gaming. Double-shot injection moulding prevents the key legends from fading with long-term use.
KeyDominator 3 software
The KeyDominator 3 software lets you create and save macros into separate profiles. You can apply settings to individual keys according to your needs. Macros can be customised to control the mouse¹, windows², text files³, multimedia players⁴ and internet browsers⁵. The software is available as a free download from the official Bloody manufacturer's website.
