The Ajax FireProtect 2 carbon monoxide detector informs you in time of increased gas concentrations, preventing situations that could endanger your life. A signal of 85 dB will alert you to excess values. To detect dangerous concentrations of carbon monoxide, FireProtect 2 features a built-in chemical sensor with a minimum lifetime of 10 years. The unit is simply installed in the ceiling, ensuring even sensing throughout the room. It can be mounted on the wall close to the gas appliance, reducing the possibility of leakage delays. It communicates using the Jeweller protocol with the central unit and can be controlled via the manufacturer's AJAX application. However, you can also use it completely on its own without the hub. The model marked SB has a built-in battery, which is designed to last the life of the entire device, i.e. approximately 10 years.

You can also plug it into smart home scenarios, and when CO is detected, the system can trigger ventilation, disconnect gas appliances or set off sirens throughout the property. Control via the manufacturer's Ajax app is simple and intuitive.
Installation that everyone can do
The device is designed for indoor use. It attaches to the ceiling with the SmartBracket, which does not require removal of the top of the cover. The Ajax FireProtect 2 SB gas detector is equipped with a built-in battery with a lifetime of up to 10 years. In the event of a low battery, the device will alert you by flashing the LED and beeping.
