The Ajax FireProtect 2 SB (Heat/Smoke/CO) is a wireless detector that combines optical smoke detection, temperature reporting and carbon monoxide measurement in one body. A built-in 85dB siren, bright LED signalling and in-app push notifications ensure you know about the threat immediately. The Ajax FireProtect 2 SB (Heat/Smoke/CO) detector can operate stand-alone or as part of an Ajax system where it can connect to other detectors for a mass alarm within 20 seconds. It is powered by non-replaceable lithium batteries with a lifetime of up to 10 years. Thanks to the Jeweller's secure radio communication with a range of up to 1,700 m and protection against sabotage, it is reliable in the long term, even in demanding conditions. The Ajax app is in both English and Czech and works on Android and iOS.

Reliable smoke, temperature and CO detection
FireProtect 2 SB combines a bispectral optical smoke sensor, a pair of thermistors and an electrochemical CO sensor. The optical sensor with blue and infrared LEDs distinguishes particle size and does not react to water vapour. The smoke chamber is protected against dust and insects, so accuracy remains high even in harsh environments. A temperature alarm is raised if the temperature exceeds 64 °C or rises by more than 10 °C per minute. The CO sensor alerts at 50 ppm within 90 minutes, 100 ppm within 40 minutes and 300 ppm within 3 minutes and has a lifetime of 10 years.
Safe signalling and system cooperation
The built-in 85 dB siren and LED indication ensure that the alarm is not missed. The green LED confirms power, yellow indicates a fault and red indicates an alarm. Within the Ajax system, detectors can connect to each other and trigger a mass alert within 20 seconds. The Ajax FireProtect 2 SB (Heat/Smoke/CO) can operate autonomously, but notifications to applications and bulk connectivity require a hub. The front button is used for a manual test and to switch off the audible alarm in case of an alarm or fault.
Installation, maintenance and security
Installation is quick thanks to the SmartBracket panel, which can be aligned 90° after installation. Pairing with the hub is done by scanning a QR code and settings and tests can be done remotely in the Ajax application. Radio communication is via the Jeweller protocol with a range of up to 1,700 m and device authentication. The Ajax FireProtect 2 SB (Heat/Smoke/CO) detector is tamper-proof, detects removal from the bracket and monitors for loss of communication within approximately 15 minutes. Built-in lithium batteries provide up to 10 years of operation and the device provides early warning of low battery capacity.
