Reliable wireless communication
The LightCore relay uses Ajax Jeweller technology for command and event transfer and Ajax Wings for firmware updates. Both technologies offer two-way communication, data encryption and frequency hopping to protect against interference. With a range of up to 1100 metres in open areas, the relay can be installed flexibly in larger buildings without the need for additional signal repeaters.
Automation and scenarios
The Ajax LightCore relay supports the setting of automation scenarios such as switching lights on during an alarm, switching according to a schedule or responding to temperature, humidity or CO₂ readings from other Ajax sensors. Users can control the lighting manually, remotely via the app or via another compatible Ajax controller, giving them full control over the lighting and other connected devices.
Easy and safe installation
Installation depth of 36 mm allows installation in standard installation boxes. The LightCore can switch loadsfrom 5 to 300 W per channel and is equipped with low power protection for the connected device. If an incompatible appliance is detected, the module automatically disconnects the power and sends an alert to the Ajax Security System application.
