AKASA 2U Cooler for Intel LGA1851 / LGA1700

AKASA 2U Cooler for Intel LGA1851 / LGA1700
The AKASA 2U processor cooler is designed to dissipate heat from processors in PC builds and servers. This active cooling system, with a height of 67.3mm, fits into 2U server cases and supports both Intel LGA1700 and LGA1851 sockets. Its construction can cool processors with a thermal design power (TDP) of up to 235W, covering the needs of 12th to 14th generation Intel Core processors and the Core Ultra series. Five integrated copper heatpipes draw generated heat from the processor's surface directly into the aluminium fins. The device is suitable for server applications, edge computing, or in high-load compact workstations.
Key features of the AKASA 2U Cooler for Intel LGA1851 / LGA1700 processor cooler
- Five copper heatpipes supporting up to 235W
- Fan with dual ball bearing for an 80000-hour lifespan
- Pre-applied thermal paste on the base
- Screw system with springs for stable mounting pressure
- Fan speed range of 2600 to 8000 RPM
Fan with speed control
Active cooling is provided by a 60×60×25mm fan with automatic PWM speed control. The rotation speed varies from 2600 to 8000 RPM depending on the current processor temperature. The dual ball bearing system extends the fan's total operating life to 80000 hours. The fan delivers an airflow of up to 80.19m³/h at a noise level of 52.5dB and operates at a voltage of 12V.
Compact dimensions for low-profile systems
The device has a total height of 67.3mm, which meets the standards for installation in low-profile systems. Thanks to these compact dimensions, it fits into 2U-type server cases. The low profile facilitates airflow within the confined space of a computer case and does not obstruct other components. The cooler's total width is 88mm and its depth is 90mm. The entire cooling block weighs 421g, which contributes to a stable seating on the motherboard without excessive strain on the PCB.
Screw mounting
Installation is done using sturdy screws with compression springs, which create constant and even pressure on the processor. This mounting method prevents the cooler from coming loose and contributes to a stable contact with the processor. The secure connection withstands strong vibrations during the transport of a finished PC build or during continuous operation in a rack. The cooler is compatible with Intel LGA1700 and LGA1851 sockets, which corresponds to 12th to 14th generation Intel Core and Core Ultra processors.
Thermal paste
The manufacturer applies thermal paste directly to the cooler's base at the factory. This means users do not need to apply the paste manually before assembly. This pre-prepared transfer material reduces the time required to install the entire cooling system. The connection between the processor and the cooler conducts heat right out of the box. The pre-applied layer eliminates the risk of incorrect application and helps maintain a stable thermal contact between the two metal surfaces.
