The Akasa AK-CR-03BKV2 is one of the first readers compatible with electronic identity cards, so-called e-IDs. Only with the complete set (an electronic ID card and this reader) can you reliably prove your identity online, saving you a lot of time queuing at government offices. It allows you to use smart cards with desktop and notebook computers or Macs. It supports multiple smart card protocols for maximum compatibility. The Akasa AK-CR-03BKV2 is very compact, and its installation doesn't involve complex technicalities – for basic operation, you just need a computer with a USB port. However, when using it with an electronic ID card, you will need to have the eObčanka software installed.
