Cooler construction
The cooler's construction consists of aluminium fins and four copper heat pipes, which draw heat away from the processor. The nickel-plated copper base makes direct contact with the processor's integrated heat spreader and transfers heat to the highly conductive pipes, accelerating the entire cooling process. The overall dimensions of the heatsink help to maintain the low profile of the entire cooling system.
Fan with PWM control
The cooler is fitted with a single 92 × 92 × 12mm fan that operates at speeds ranging from 800 to 3600 rpm. The integrated PWM system adjusts the fan speed to the current thermal load of the processor via a 4-pin PWM connector. The fan generates an airflow of 67.96m³/h and develops an air pressure of 2.2mm-H₂O at a rated current of 0.28A.
Operating noise, bearing and compatibility
The ball bearing helps reduce friction in the fan's rotating parts, which positively affects the entire mechanism's operating characteristics. The noise level ranges from 17 to 35.8dB, depending on the current fan speed. The fan has an expected lifespan of a full 40000 hours of continuous operation at DC 12V. The mounting system is designed for motherboards with AMD AM4 and AMD AM5 sockets. The cooler is installed using mounting screws and a sturdy backplate, which stabilises the entire structure on the computer's motherboard. The 94 × 94mm footprint and the overall shape of the heatsink do not interfere with the space for RAM modules, so all available slots can be populated.
