Omega-3 fatty acids play a vital role in human metabolism. They are vital to the body, but the body cannot make (synthesize) them from other nutrients and therefore must take them in through the diet. Incorporating unsaturated fatty acids into the diet has many potential benefits. The main dietary sources of EPA and DHA are fish oil, salmon, herring, cod, algae and other seafood. The results of many studies have shown that high blood levels of EPA and DHA are associated with longer life. This supports the claim that fatty acids from marine sources may promote cardiovascular health and could be linked to increased life expectancy.

Active ingredients
- Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA)is found in oily fish and seaweed and contributes to normal heart function.
- Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA)is a key structural component of the brain, retina and heart muscle. It is absolutely essential for children's brain development and adult cognitive function.

Recommended dosage
2-3 capsules per day, preferably with a meal containing fat.
