The Alpina Twist Six HR V photochromic cycling goggles feature a half-frame design and cutting-edge ALPINA Varioflex lens technology. This allows the lenses to automatically adapt to the light conditions - darkening or brightening themselves. The tinting range covers protection categories S1 to S3. Goggles provide 100% UV protection, equipped with Fogstop technologywhich prevents the lenses from fogging up, and a hydrophobic coating that keeps the outside of the lenses clean. The patented adjustable inclination of the feet allows the glasses to be individually adjusted to the shape of the face. Varioflex+

Varioflex+ is a lens technology in which the lens tint automatically adapts to the weather. Self-inking (photochromic) board responds to visible light. When irradiated, the chemical elements open up and produce a flat, darkening effect. If the light intensity is reduced, the chemical elements close and the lens brightens again. The process takes place in seconds. Result: lens for a wide range of lighting conditions.

Fogstop - glasses remain fog-free even during very high physical activity

Fogstop is a coating applied to the inside of the lens. It's not smooth, but it's rough - when viewed through a microscope it looks quite cracked. This prevents moisture droplets from forming a covering layer, i.e. fog up the lenswhich impairs visibility. This could only occur if the moisture level was such that all cracks were filled with water. But before that can happen, the stored moisture actually condenses and keeps the lens clean.
