The Alpinestars ATEM 5S motorcycle jacket is a sports model designed for riding on road motorcycles. FLEX PLUS RACE cowhide leather is complemented by strategically placed stretch panels to ensure freedom of movement. The safety features include internal and external protectors, and the jacket is compatible with Tech-Air® airbag systems. The extended back section and pre-curved sleeves contribute to riding comfort.

Materials and construction for freedom of movement

The jacket's base is made from FLEX PLUS RACE cowhide leather. For comfort and flexibility while riding, the jacket uses A-CS®Tech stretch panels. These panels are complemented by areas of HRSF polyamide fabric and RIDEKNIT® knitted fabric on the forearms and sleeve ends. This combination of materials allows the jacket to adapt to the body's movements without restricting the rider. The pre-curved sleeve cut and extended back section further enhance comfort in the riding position.

Comprehensive protection system

The ATEM 5S jacket is equipped with a system of protective features. Internal protection is provided by removable NUCLEON FLEX PLUS shoulder and GP elbow protectors. On the outside, there are DFS RR (Dynamic Friction Shield) plastic protectors on the shoulders and elbows, which reduce friction during a slide. You can further enhance the jacket with NUCLEON back and chest inserts, for which it has dedicated pockets. It meets CE Category II certification and achieves an AA classification.

Airbag readiness and practical details

One of the key features is its compatibility with TECH-AIR® systems, specifically the TECH-AIR®5 and TECH-AIR®3 models. The jacket is designed to accommodate the correct functioning of the airbag vest. For riding in warmer weather, there are perforated areas that provide ventilation. The integrated aerodynamic hump not only improves stability at high speeds but also includes preparation for inserting a hydration pack. Features include two external zipped pockets, an internal waterproof pocket, and waist and sleeve adjustability.
