The ALPINESTARS MONTEIRA DRYSTAR XFS motorcycle jacket in size XXL is designed for year-round riding in a variety of weather conditions. The textile construction with a two-layer lamination and DRYSTAR XF® climate membrane ensures it is 100% waterproof and breathable. Safety is enhanced by certified NUCLEON FLEX PRO elbow and shoulder protectors, and the jacket is compatible with airbag vests. An inner thermal lining and a ventilation system provide thermal comfort. The jacket can be connected to trousers using a full-length zip.

All-weather durability

The Monteira jacket is built on a textile outer shell with a two-layer laminated construction. The DRYSTAR XF® climate membrane is laminated directly onto the outer fabric, which prevents it from soaking up water and keeps the jacket light even in the rain. This system guarantees 100% waterproofness while also wicking vapour away from the body. The surface is also treated with a DWR water-repellent finish. In high-stress areas such as the shoulders and elbows, reinforced 600D fabric panels are used for abrasion resistance.

Certified protection and airbag compatibility

The core of the protection is provided by removable NUCLEON FLEX PRO protectors on the elbows and shoulders, which are CE Level 2 certified. The jacket is ready to be fitted with NUCLEON series back protectors, for which there is a dedicated pocket. The entire jacket as a set meets CE Class AA certification. For an extra level of safety, it is also fully compatible with TECH-AIR®5 and TECH-AIR®3 airbag systems. Reflective elements improve visibility in low-light conditions.

Adaptability and ventilation for all-day riding

For riding in warm weather, the jacket features a Direct Ventilation System that lets you easily open large ventilation panels on the chest. Airflow is further enhanced by ventilation zips on the sleeves, underarms, and back. On colder days, a removable thermal lining provides warmth. Stretch panels on the torso and sleeves ensure freedom of movement. You can customise the jacket to your figure using the adjustment straps at the waist, chest, and bottom hem. The high collar, which can be fixed in an open position, also adds to the comfort.
