The Alpinestars S-M5 COMPASS motorcycle helmet in size XXL is designed for off-road riding. Its thermoplastic shell provides protection and meets the ECE 22.05 homologation for road use. For comfort, the inner lining is fully removable, washable and hypoallergenic. The helmet fastens securely with DD rings. It is suitable for a head circumference of 63–64cm.

Construction and safety features

The thermoplastic shell is complemented by a multi-panel EPS foam core with different densities for targeted energy absorption on impact. To increase safety, the helmet features an Emergency Release System (ERS) for the cheek pads, which enables rescue teams to remove the helmet easily and safely in the event of an accident. The helmet fastens securely with DD rings.

Functionality and interior

The Alpinestars S-M5 COMPASS helmet has a quick-release visor system that detaches in the event of a fall, helping to minimise the risk of further injury. The inner lining is fully removable and washable, making it easy to maintain and keep clean. The hypoallergenic material also contributes to comfort, even on longer rides. The helmet is designed to accommodate a communication system, with dedicated spaces prepared for installation.
